Bălți, December 6, 2024 – Last week, the city of Bălți hosted the event "Step Forward: Empowering Communities Through Socio-Economic Empowerment", an outstanding initiative led by People in Need, which brought together over 200 participants eager to transform their lives and communities.

      A central moment of the event was the presentation delivered by Tatiana Nița, CEO of the business consultancy company One Note. With extensive experience in training and mentoring entrepreneurs, Tatiana Nița captivated the audience with an inspiring speech on:

✨ The Power of the Female Entrepreneur – her role as a catalyst for positive change within the community.        ✨ Maintaining Motivation – practical strategies to overcome obstacles and build sustainable businesses.

    "Female entrepreneurs are pillars of change. They bring innovation, courage, and solutions to their communities. It was an honor to share my experience and motivate participants to follow their entrepreneurial dreams," said Tatiana Nița.

     The event marked the conclusion of a large-scale initiative that supported 130 refugees from Ukraine and 70 Moldovans, providing them with access to:

•      Professional training to acquire new skills;
•      Development of employment competencies;
•      Micro-grants to launch their own businesses.

     Participants benefited from training provided by renowned partners, including local and international organizations, and had the opportunity to share their success stories.

     The event, held at Nortek, was made possible thanks to the collaboration between People in Need, partner organizations, and speakers who contributed, including One Note LLC.
